• Dealing with Custom House Agent, Freight Forwarders & Shipping Lines for the duty free Custom clearance of capital good sea shipments [FCL/LCL] and capital goods air shipments, availing the benefits of EPCG and EOU Schemes.
• Dealing with Courier Agencies, DHL, FedEx and UPS for the pickup, Custom clearance and delivery of research chemical import shipments, duty free as well as by paying the duty.
• Documentation, processing, pickup, custom clearance, monitoring, follow ups and delivery of Export final compound shipments to the respective overseas clients. FTE based shipments through CSB V and PO based shipments through Ice-Gate.
• Filing the Bill of Entry of Import shipments before the landing to avoid late fine and getting the Custom clearance done immediately after the landing to avoid demurrage [Zero Tolerance].
• Leading the SCM-Logistics team and handling the day to day activities of EPCG and EOU unit.
• Preparation and presentation of MIS reports to higher management and also to the Custom officials when required.
• Necessary compliances of EPCG and EOU units.
